Do you guys ever feel like social media stresses you out about your fashion choices? Or do you think it makes it easier? I appreciate the style inspo (I hope that is what I provide you!) but I know the pressure to buy, buy, buy so you have the perfect outfit on at all times. I have been thinking about this lately and I feel like I genuinely make an effort to only showcase what I truly love. I personally purchase 99.9% of the things that I wear here so if I’m making a recommendation you better believe it comes from a place of honesty, sincerity and just general girlfriend advice.
Personal style should be something that truly makes you happy. Sometimes I find myself wearing outfits that feel so not me just because it seems to be the trend on IG. Silly, right? It wasn’t until recently that I was like “what the heck Liz, you do you.” And you know what, I’ve felt so much better about my style lately. Not because it’s what everyone else is wearing but because it makes me feel confident. I found myself weighed down by neutrals when really, I just want to be bright and feminine and happy. Then I started thinking about personal style and how it is so different across the board yet it is really the first thing you notice about someone—their outfit. BUT you know what really makes an outfit? The confidence that person has in wearing whatever they are wearing. That is the most important part of any outfit.
I digress but as I get older this concept has become more and more important to who I am as a mom, a role model and a representation for women. You aren’t defined by the clothes that you wear, you are defined by your attitude and what you put out into the world. There is a lot of fluff out there and I’m here to tell you that it doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you feel good in the things that you wear. That you always feel like you.

A few weeks ago I shared that I found one of my favorite pairs of Levi’s on Walmart.com! Not going to lie, I hadn’t shopped at Walmart for fashion before spotting my favorite jeans (they have since sold out in this exact wash but same style is here – just not as high rise!). But then I did what any normal woman would do, I went down a dark rabbit hole of clothes and accessories and was pleasantly surprised by what I found! Walmart recently launched a campaign called We Dress America highlighting fashion for all – whoever you are and wherever you come from. A somewhat fitting concept for what I’m talking about! A reminder that fashion is fun and there is something for everyone!
I had shared this outfit on IG and I think you all loved this sweatshirt so much because it is almost sold out! Here is another really cute floral sweatshirt option that would be a good transitional piece for Spring! I’m also loving these simple espadrilles and boyfriend jeans. If you want to see a few more Walmart favorites scroll through below…
So whatever you wear today, look in the mirror and remind yourself that you are beautiful and confident and amazing and then go out and seize your day!
