I’ve been lucky enough to visit two warm weather destinations in the last couple months (Mexico for my friend’s bachelorette party and Florida to visit Dave’s mom) and have picked up some new vacation style favorites along the way. I’m a big fan of Faithfull the Brand’s pieces (see more styles here and here). They are feminine and effortless without feeling overly trendy. I always purchase a few pieces at the beginning of the year because I know they will make easy summer date night outfits when the weather finally warms up in Chicago.
For someone who honestly never gets dressed up anymore (sad but true), putting on this little dress for date night with Dave was really fun. A reminder that it’s important to have items like this in your closet even though I would say my wardrobe is far from these days. I bought these shoes on a whim because again, I barely get out of slippers or sneakers these days and HOLY. LEGS. Legs for days over here and I’m only 5’4″! So so flattering and the heel isn’t super high. They are extremely comfortable and a great price (similar styles here and here, too)! Paired with the best wicker bag that I purchased last year or the year before and it is a fan favorite. I get so many compliments on this bag and even found similar styles here and here (both under $100).
