Anyone else craving a beach vacation? Winter starts to feel realllly long this time of year…thank goodness February is a short month, because it means we’re that much closer to spring break. We’re heading to Florida in a few weeks, and I cannot wait for shorts and sandals weather. Since it’s still below thirty degrees here in Chicago, I’ve been living vicariously through all the great vacation styles popping up lately. Here are a few of my favorite picks for your next tropical getaway: 

White Eyelet Blouse. You know my closet is already dominated by white tops, but I couldn’t resist the eyelet detail and ruffles on this pretty white blouse. It’s under $35 and would look so cute with denim and sandals. 

Blush bikini top and high-rise bottoms. Between the bow detail and the high-rise style, this may be the perfect swimsuit. I love the color and I feel like it will be so flattering. I am also obsessed with the low back and ruffle detail on this one-piece (which comes in six colors!).

The perfect straw hat. If you didn’t pick this style up last summer, make sure you do…it’s the perfect outfit-maker for heading to the beach and walking around town (not to mention sun protection!). 

A linen midi dress. This dress looks like something you would wear strolling on the French Riviera (maybe one day). I love how the open back and lower neckline makes it just a little bit flirty, but the length is perfect for a nicer dinner. Throw an oversized jean jacket on top when it gets chilly! 

The best denim shorts. I’m really picky when it comes to denim shorts—they have to hit your thighs at just the right spot, and they’ve gotta be the right color and level of distress. But this pair fits the bill! Wear them over your swimsuit or with a basic tee during the day and with a cute patterned sweatshirt for a casual evening. 

Other must-haves: Jeweled slides for walking around town, a dress for showing off your tan shoulders, fun earrings, and a straw tote for holding all your beach essentials.
