Beauty is an interesting category for me. I am a woman so obviously beauty is something that I love and need but in all honesty, I hate spending money on it. Until recently I always felt like there were “looks for less” and I never believed that products actually lived up to their hype. It was when I became a mom that I realized the importance of the products that I use and the affects they have on my skin. Motherhood has aged me (in more ways than one) and I truly rely on good products to take care of my skin. Now, I’m a little bit obsessed, but not in a colorful eyeshadow sort of way – in an every girl needs some good products sort of way.
Maybe it’s because I cringe a little bit when I spend a lot on beauty products that I feel like they are a great gift to give! Especially when I know the receiver may feel the same way. Some of my favorite brands to work with are beauty brands because I get to test products and report back to you. In the last couple years I have really streamlined my beauty routine and I love sharing the wealth. Beauty to me doesn’t really mean makeup (that is kind of the finishing touch), it is using products that make you feel like the best version of yourself. Whether that is a body scrub, an exfoliating brush, a good book, essential oils or tools to make your life easier. Beauty is in essence an investment in yourself, your skin, your body and your mind. So, that being said, here are a few beauty products that I think would make great gifts…
Time is of the essence people and if you are a mama, business woman or just someone with way too much on your plate who needs beauty tools that do great work fast then you deserve this Dyson hair dryer and my go-to T3 curling wand.
The dreamiest bath combination: hot water + coconut citrus scrub + a luxurious body brush + Kopari coconut melt. Would make such a good gift combo!
Beauty dust? Very intriguing! Cute stocking stuffer idea.
I’ve heard amazing things about this book and I feel like it is just what I need post-baby.
Also THIS. This is what I want to master. I feel like anyone would appreciate this gift.
What woman doesn’t love a pretty makeup palette? I know I do. I visited Blue Mercury last week and picked up this Lune + Aster bronzer and cheek palette which has EVERYTHING you could possibly need in the prettiest shades.
I swear one of my biggest beauty obsessions is good hand cream (that is what living in Chicago will do to you). It’s something that I always desperately need but never remember to buy. I love the idea of giving this gift set!
How cute is this makeup bag?
