Today’s gift guide is for the men in your life! I asked Dave for help on this one and he gave me some good ideas that I probably wouldn’t have thought of myself. Why are men so hard to shop for? It’s kind of like they are so easy that it is hard, you know? In reality, Dave would probably like anything but I always stew over what to get him. This year I feel more prepared!
Dave, if you’re reading this STOP READING. NOW. GOODBYE. GO.
…this year, I’m getting Dave a Yeti cooler. My parents have a few and they are amazing. They keep things cold forever, look manly and are super durable. I know he is going to love it.
One of my top rated gift ideas and most purchased gifts for men last year was the Patagonia Better Sweater. I laugh because Dave always calls himself a Patagonia model (in a very sarcastic way) because I swear he owns everything that Patagonia sells. He is a walking billboard for them but the Better Sweater is by far his most worn item. He and Charlie also have these matching vests which makes my heart flutter a little bit.
We bought the NEST thermostat for our home and it’s embarrassing how obsessed we are with it. I love being able to access our home from the app to make sure everything is warm and cozy when we get home. We decided it would be the perfect gift for my dad because he is always adjusting or checking the thermostat in their house.
I’m always on the hunt for little gifts that don’t mean much but are just kind of fun. I knew Dave would love this silly football game, he loves this shower gel – it smells amazing and covers everything (which may sound like a weird gift but guys would never buy this for themselves), you can’t beat a good bluetooth speaker and I’m also thinking of restocking his favorite henley shirt.
If you need some more ideas: I love this cashmere hoodie (under $150!), a subscription to the craft beer club or the hot sauce club (Dave’s brother got him this last year and it was a HIT), this monogrammed garment bag (only $70!) or Dave’s all time favorite weekender bag.
