Bernardo Puffer Coat c/o (under $150! wearing a small), Dreamers Cable Sweater (only $60, wearing a small!), Isabel Maternity Denim, Kristin Cavallari Loafers
It’s no secret that I am a coat lover. Every year they are the first item on my shopping list. As a midwesterner, I have learned that winters can be brutal but that doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice style for warmth. This season I’ve been especially drawn to styles that are functional but with a little flare. When it comes to cold weather coats, I usually always reach for something black. However, I saw this coat from Bernardo and instantly fell in love with the olive green color, its cropped style and oversized fit.
I’m not lying when I tell you that I received more than 10 compliments on this coat and my family couldn’t believe that the price tag was under $150. It’s super warm but without feeling heavy. I’m wearing a small for reference! The shape is especially cute with skinny jeans and I can’t wait until the weather really cools down and I have to pull out my favorite saltwater boots. We woke up to 40 degree temperatures when we were in Wisconsin last weekend and I was so happy I packed this coat!
Bernardo is a great brand that makes affordable coats to last you all winter. I wore this coat to death last year (seen here) and it is still one of my favorites (lightweight, warm and packable making it perfect for travel). I love the more athletic, trim style, too. How cute is this velvet puffer? I love the color! I’m also eyeing this cute anorak under $100 and this bomber coat with rose gold hardware.
