I’ve really tried to not let my baby bump deter me from dressing up throughout this pregnancy. Although most days I’m wearing compression leggings that go up to my rib cage, I’ve really only purchased pieces that would work after baby, too. Let’s be honest, maternity styles aren’t great. Instead, I gravitate towards longer tunic styles, bell shapes or I will size up in more fitted items so I get more length for the bump.

I love this Club Monaco top because of its tunic length, off the shoulder sleeves, cute tie detail and loose fit (while still maintaining a streamlined shape). It isn’t wide which is flattering against the body and really only shows the bump from the side. Plus, this top is so comfortable and would look cute tucked into wide leg trousers or a midi skirt for the holidays. This top also happens to be on serious sale and comes in 3 colors (I’m wearing a size 4, my typical size at CM).

We took these photos before we went to dinner for our three year wedding anniversary a couple weeks ago. A simple look but it’s made up of pieces that are no-brainers for any woman’s closet. A chic top (more favorites here, here, here and here), jeans that make you feel like a million bucks (even if they are maternity), simple nude heels, statement earrings and my leopard clutch (which I’ve owned and loved for 3-4 years).

I hope you all had a great weekend! How is it October? It is truly starting to feel like fall! To celebrate, I’m teaming up with four of my friends – Julia, Ashley, Grace and Jess to giveaway a $1000 fall shopping spree! All you have to do is follow the instructions below. The giveaway will run through Friday. Good luck!
