Simplifying Our Morning Routine

In collaboration with Quaker.

These past few weeks have been an absolute whirlwind! Between packing, chasing a toddler, working, living amongst boxes, realizing you packed all of your forks, knives, plates, etc. when it’s time to eat dinner, tying up loose ends with our apartment and moving with Webster and Charlie – there has been a big lack of sleep and/or eating nutritious meals. I know that these phases come and go so I just had to ride the wave. However, trying to do it all while taking care of a toddler who has no idea what is going on – is tough. Especially when it comes to meals and you have nothing in your home. Enter Quaker Overnight Oats.

Seriously you guys, Quaker Overnight Oats are a lifesaver! They are an easy and hassle-free way to know that I am getting a nutritious breakfast choice without a lot of effort. I had seen people talk about overnight oats but the process always seemed a bit overwhelming. Figuring out what flavor combinations would be best, prepping them in individual containers that could be sealed – it felt like I never had the right ingredients or products to make it correctly. I was immediately intrigued by Quaker’s new Overnight Oats, which come in 4 delicious flavors. My favorite flavors being the Toasted Coconut & Almond Crunch and Blueberry Banana & Vanilla Bliss. Each flavor comes in a ready to prepare and serve container. All you do is add your favorite milk or non-dairy option at night and let it cold-steep in your refrigerator while you sleep. I like to add almond milk and as soon as you wake up it is ready. You can even customize it by adding your favorite fruit on top!

I tend to eat mine right when I wake up. I sometimes add chia seeds or a handful of my favorite granola for an extra crunch. Quaker Overnight Oats saved me this past week. All of the flavors include 100% whole grain oats (and other grains) and are a good source of dietary fiber (10 grams of fat or less per container). The ultimate time saver when you need a few extra minutes to yourself! I swear breakfast is always my hardest mom moment of the day – as I struggle to get Charlie ready for the day Quaker Overnight Oats helps me turn my morning hassle into morning hustle. #momwin
