Looking Good and Feeling Good

My moto for dressing is wear things that make you feel like the best version of yourself. This doesn’t happen every day but there are definitely items in my closet that I wear for me and items I wear for Dave. Dave likes to see me in skinny jeans, a white tee, dressed up for a wedding or basically anything tight. I like to see myself in mom jeans, a stripe tee, some sort of sweater and/or jacket and fun shoes. I definitely dress for comfort this days and count on accessories to dress up my looks a bit. It’s all about how your outfits make you feel – that’s what really counts. Look good, feel good.

I’m a jeans and tee kind of girl and now that we are well into spring I get to pull out some of my favorite layers. My recent obsession is this white jean jacket by Eileen Fisher for Bloomingdales. I love the looser fit (tight jean jackets are a pet peeve), natural coloring (stark white and a baby don’t mix) and cropped silhouette. The fact that it doesn’t have any dye in it makes it feel like the color goes with everything. The perfect neutral to throw over a spring/summer dress or your favorite pair of jeans.

Eileen Fisher created a line of eco friendly exclusives for Bloomingdales that make it easy to love what you wear. A true example of looking good and feeling good. A few favorites here, here and here.

What is your go-to outfit?
