It is no surprise that loafers are a big hit this year. After lusting over the Gucci pair, I realized I wasn’t quite sure if this style was for me. They are a little masculine but I love the juxtaposition of this style paired with more feminine pieces. They also jazz up basics in the best way! Today I’m sharing the best loafers for women to try in the new year.

I knew I wanted to try this style so I ventured to Nordstrom to get the best selection possible. I couldn’t decide on these floral Sam Edelman loafers and these white Leora loafers, so I bought them both. #oops We had a couple of 45 degree days last week (which seriously feels like 60 in Chicago) so I was excited to pull the floral pair out for a test drive. We ventured to Kanela for brunch followed by the Nature Museum. Charlie was sick for the majority of last week and it felt so good to finally get out of the house. 

Spring is always super delayed in Chicago so if I can’t wear my more spring-y pieces, I can at least incorporate some spring accessories! You can shop more of my favorite shoes below…
