If you follow me on snapchat you probably saw my excursion to the new Nordstrom Rack Last Chance store at Yorktown Mall last month. I had the opportunity to go to the store before the grand opening on October 20th and it DID NOT disappoint. I had heard that it would be good but I was not prepared for the amount of designer goods on serious markdown. There is something so exhilarating about finding an amazing item on sale. Especially in this kind of store environment when you sometimes have to dig to find the diamonds. It was such a thrill!

I immediately gravitated towards the handbags and was blown away by the amount of Valentino, Phillip Lim, Fendi, Balenciaga and Tory Burch bags that were marked down to a fraction of their original price. At one point I was hoarding 5-6 bags over my shoulders. I decided I couldn’t leave without this Phillip Lim Mini-Pashli. I love the color!

My eyes immediately locked eyes on a beautiful burgundy coat that was sticking out from the racks. This find was literally fate. Last year I had been obsessing over this Burberry coat at Nordstrom but with an $1800 price tag I just couldn’t justify it. BUT, I found this beauty at Last Chance for $194. You guys. I still can’t believe it! My coat collection is quite impressive (since Chicago is cold 9 months of the year). I layered my coat over an Equipment cashmere sweater that I found for $32 and an white silk tank for $9.

The shoe department was insane. Hunter boots, Louboutin’s, Tory Burch, Jimmy Choo, Valentino, Gucci and Nike’s galore. I found these noir Valentino Rockstud’s for $148. No brainer, am I right?

The Last Chance store is officially open at Yorktown Mall, 100 Yorktown Mall in Lombard. It is a quick 20 minute drive from the city if you’re thinking of making the trip (you should).
