On Saturday morning we woke up early, grabbed coffee and drove an hour to Redfish Lake. Everyone in town had raved about not only the beautiful drive through the mountains to get there (a moose slowly crossed the road in front of our car!). Clearly we were not disappointed. The water was perfectly clear but the mountains!!!!! Oh my gosh the views of the mountains. We sat for an hour watching the clouds lift to expose the snow covered peaks and it was just the best morning soaking up the crisp air and insane views.
The temperatures were cold – it was 32 degrees the morning we left but 60 degrees by the afternoon. I knew I needed a coat that could easily fit into my suitcase, keep me warm during the cold mornings and throughout our various excursions! I brought the Bernardo Primaloft Jacket because it is insulated with down feathers (it is so warm), lightweight and folds up small so it can be easily packed away. It is also machine washable which is different than my other jackets. It was the perfect option for the entire weekend and I really wore it nonstop. If you’re looking for a good winter jacket that is warm and stylish, I highly recommend it! Also, it is currently 50% off!
I’ll be sharing more of our trip tomorrow!
