The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale kicks off this week and that means it is time to start prepping. I’m sure you’ve noticed a lot of chatter about it but if you’re not familiar it is pretty much the biggest sale of the year. It is your chance to score NEW fall items from your favorite designers at a discount. You only have a short time to take advantage before items go back to full price and the good stuff sells out FAST so I always try to go into it with a game plan. Early access begins on Thursday, July 14 (that means if you have a Nordstrom Card you get to shop early!) and it opens to the public on July 22. I finally opened a card last year and the perks are amazing. I would really consider it especially in time for the sale on Thursday.
Fall fashion always signals a return to classic style and there are a few items I always make sure to grab during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. You can count on your favorite designers being the stars of the sale, like Theory, Vince, Rag & Bone, Tory Burch, Chloe, Rebecca Minkoff, Topshop and so much more. I like to start by making a shopping list – items that I really need to create a base for my fall wardrobe. Mine will look like this…

Having this list in front of me makes it easier to categorize where I’m looking when I’m shopping online (because lets be real, I rarely have the opportunity to get into the store these days). The sale is also on for men and kids too (Charlie is going to get spoiled)!
