Buying designer items is definitely an investment. My YSL tote was actually my first designer purchase after having an exciting month a few years ago. I told myself that it would be something I would have forever, could eventually hand down to my daughter but would also have a good re-sale value should I decide to sell it down the road. I love the boxy silhouette of this bag, it kind of means business and makes me feel official when I wear it. I also have the Givenchy Medium Antigona bag (more colors here, I love the bowler silhouette) and the Fendi Petite 2Jours Shopper which is my favorite (I love the size). My Valentino Rockstuds are another designer piece that I have invested in over the years. I actually own three pairs – the navy, nude and rose ballet flats (seen here). I bought the first pair after everyone raved about them and I can honestly say they are one of the most comfortable heels I own. They also manage to elevate any outfit you pair them with. I really can’t recommend them enough (I would size up a half size).
Nordstrom carries the best collection of a few of my favorite designer brands. I am currently lusting over this Chloe bag, these suede scallop flats, these leopard flats, and this Valentino crossbody bag. If money weren’t an issue, which designer item would you love to make yours?
