Simplicity always wins in my closet and this look is a perfect example. When in doubt I always reach for one of three to four dresses where I know I can throw on some accessories and walk out the door without second guessing what I’m wearing. It is a good feeling when that happens, don’t you agree?

I’ve been obsessing over simple pieces of jewelry that pack a punch lately – specifically cuff earrings/ear jackets and layered necklaces. I love how sparkly these Nadri ear jackets are, plus they are lightweight while making a serious statement. My Elizabeth and James layered necklaces (here and here) are worn almost daily – either with my favorite tee and jeans or underneath a button down shirt – and are delicate but also edgy and cool.

Statement sunnies are a serious trend right now but because I’m not sure how long it will last I didn’t want to spend too much money. I have been loving everything Quay and Le Specs have been putting out this season and couldn’t pass up this pair of Quay cat eye sunnies. Aren’t they fun? Summer is the time to let your hair down and these sunnies scream summer vibes.

This look is all about the accessories (I love that they can completely transform even the most basic of looks) and I’m also loving this Y necklace, this body chain, these simple ear jackets, this hand chain, these colorful earrings (want in ever color), these Morocco drop earrings, this awesome statement necklace, and this sparkly Y necklace.
