There is something about red, white and blue that screams summer. Whether you pair them together or wear them alone, they are clean, festive and happy reminders that summer is in full force. This dress had been on my radar for months and I finally bit the bullet since it was under $100 and I kept obsessing over the ruffle details paired with stripes. Not only would I wear it again on the 4th of July with a pair of sandals but it’s perfect for casual summer weddings, date nights, or outdoor barbecues.

The regular style of this dress is selling out quickly but I am actually wearing the petite version in a US 6 so that the inseam was a bit shorter – the petite style has all sizes available (I’m 5’4″ so the shorter works)! I always look to ASOS for fun dresses, rompers and tops at prices that don’t make me feel guilty for splurging on myself. Right now I am loving this tiered dress, this striped shirt, these ruffled shorts, this white lace skater dress, a cute denim romper, this peplum bow top, this OTS top and this ruffled blouse.

Also, total side note but how cute would this or this be for the 4th of July? I’m thinking of ordering for our trip to Northern Michigan.
