Festival season kicks off this month and although I am not a big festival-goer I still like to partake in the fashions. I’ve said it before but if you thought shopping for yourself was fun, shopping for your baby is so much better. Everything is cuter in mini versions. Charlie is finally getting to the age where clothes are starting to fit him well and I’m having so much fun indulging in baby trends. I have always loved the laid back vibes that come from this time of year – it reminds me of trips to California I used to take as a child. Relaxed, beachy and free.

Transitioning your wardrobe from winter in spring/summer is very dependent on separates that feel lighter but can still be worn when it’s freezing one day and warm the next. You can’t go wrong with a breezy white dress and I layered mine with the denim vest which is a fresh take on the denim jacket (which sometimes feels too bulky). My wide brim hat is a must-have for spring/summer and it seems to make every look a bit more effortless. I always admire a girl who can pull off a good hat!

Old Navy has the cutest collection for babies. Every time I go into their stores I swoon over the baby girl’s clothing because I want one of each item in my size. The baby boy’s collection is adorable, too and they make it super easy to find a combo you love with their 2-piece looks. I love the mix of prints in this sweatshirt and shorts combo.
