I focused on blues and white in various textures and prints and pieces that would be ideal for day or night. I decided to pick up a few things for myself, Dave and Charlie before we left and tried to keep this in mind for all of us…

Since Charlie was born in September he didn’t have any summer clothes so shopping for him was extra fun! Before I had Charlie (or knew what we were having) I always thought about the idea of dressing a baby girl and how much fun that would be. But dressing a baby boy is more fun than I imagined! I don’t know what it is but they always look like little old men when they wear smaller versions adult clothes. I popped into Old Navy and found THE CUTEST things for him, including this striped romper and straw fedora. He actually wore the fedora on our plane ride there and I’m not exaggerating when I say that every single person that we passed commented on it.

On this particular night we were strolling down the beach to have dinner outside and decided to snap a few photos against the gorgeous water. The wind was crazy so please ignore my hair but I will always cherish these photos of us together. I wore the softest eyelet dress paired with an embroidered scarf. My dress also comes in white and would be so pretty for brides to be, the upcoming Easter weekend or summer in general. Old Navy’s new arrivals just keep getting better, a few other favorites include this dress, this top and shorts set, these sandals, this skirt, this dress, this cami, this eyelet top and this jacket.

If you’re shopping for baby boys I love this stripe tee, this gingham shirt, this utility jacket, these linen pants, this hoodie and these overalls. If you’re shopping for baby girls I love this gingham one piece, this blouse and bloomer set, this printed romper, this denim dress, and this flutter sleeve onesie.
