my favorite beauty products for a momAs a new mom, I have learned to appreciate products that really pull their weight in my beauty routine. I don’t have time to play around with new things as much as I used to so I’ve tried to shorten the time it takes to get ready by relying on products that I know will perform. I recently stocked up on a few of my favorites and thought it could be beneficial for you to see what I’m using and loving as my me time has slowly diminished. Most days I am sad to say that my hair is wet and I barely have enough time to put on moisturizer, but when Dave gets home or I have to run an errand I like to feel fresh faced and these products do just the trick.

M-61 Vitablast C Scrub + Mask: I use this in the shower. It is the easiest way to get rid of dead skin but also provides the vitamins and nourishment my skin needs in the winter.

Darphin Ideal Resource Moisturizer: My favorite face lotion. A lot like La Mer but at a fraction of the price.

Bobbi Brown No Smudge Mascara: This is a new item in my makeup bag that I’m loving. The brush gets every single lash, it is light weight and not heavy on the eyes and it stays in place all day.

Trish McEvoy Instant Eye Lift: This stuff really does instantly life your eyes! It is a concealer but so much lighter than a typical concealer that tends to feel cake-y (a bad combo for dry undereyes). I put this under my eyes and on my eyelids.

NARS Orgasm Blush: I go back to this blush pretty much every other season. Especially when my face doesn’t have a lot of color and I don’t want a harsh contrast with my blush. This stuff makes you glow.

YSL Forever Light Corrector: This stuff diminished dark circles in a second (and this tired mama needs all the help she can get). I also apply it to the bridge of my noise, under my eyebrows, at the center of the top of my lip and right below the part on my hairline. Just to add a subtle glow to my skin.

Oribe Supershine Light Moisturizing Cream: I know this is expensive for hair product but trust me, this stuff is amazing. It adds so much moisture to dry, damaged ends and significantly makes a difference in the way my hair looks after it a blow-dry.

T3 Styling Wand: It took awhile for me to bite the bullet on this one but oh my gosh what was I waiting for? Seriously, this wand is a game changer in my hair routine. It warms up in a matter of seconds, curls larger sections of hair in half of the time, keep hair looking shiny and healthy (not fried) and seriously just makes doing my hair so much faster. I use this attachment (which comes in the wand I linked) to get larger, beachy waves.

R + Co Dry Shampoo: The best shampoo I’ve found hands down. It doesn’t spray on white or grey and it smells like heaven.
