Two weekends ago, I surprised Dave with a trip to Telluride for his 30th birthday. Dave is from Michigan and had never been skiing outside of the Midwest (hello snow covered landfills!) so I knew this was a trip that he would be so excited about. We left Charlie with my parents and knowing he was in good hands spent 4 amazing days in this dreamy little town.

In the morning I would stop and pick up coffee and donuts at Baked in Telluride and we would relax before hitting the slopes. We spent the majority of our days on the mountain. There are so many runs in Telluride with the prettiest views of town from up above (seen here). At night we would hop around town before dinner, stopping for drinks at the Sheridan Bar and dinner at Telluride Bistro, Chop House and burgers at Floradora. We had the most indulgent and delicious lunch on top of the mountain at Bon Vivant. The views of the mountains were breathtaking from every angle.

The weather was absolutely beautiful while we were in Colorado. The temperatures were in the 50’s which meant I was able to ditch my bulky layers and stay warm in cozy separates. I packed my favorite short UGG boots which I lived in all weekend long. I love the bright color against my generally neutral attire and the tribal pattern on the back was perfect for Colorado. It seems that no matter the season I can always pull out my UGG boots and know that they will work for whatever situation. You can shop more of my favorite UGG boots below…
