On Saturday, Dave and I decided to get out of the house and I took that as an opportunity to get dressed up a bit. I’m always opting for items that are comfortable and stylish and this look is just that. A poncho is kind of my newest obsession (it makes breastfeeding in public much easier!) because it is the best way to dress up the basics that I live in these days. The one I’m wearing is actually reversible and I usually throw the beige side on almost daily. I also have to note that days when I actually get to carry a bag rather than a diaper bag is a good day. I love the shape of this satchel bag – it’s the perfect black bag for fall/winter and is only $60!

Boots are normally worn on the regular throughout winters in Chicago (I love these and these) so when I can I like to throw on a comfortable pair of heels to make a casual look feel dressier. These heels are THE BEST – just sexy enough and the perfect height.
