Fourth of July

what to wear for the fourth of julyIf you’ve been following this site for awhile you know that I’m a huge fan of the Fourth of July! Red, white, blue, stars and stripes – the entire holiday has been a favorite of mine since I was a little girl. Full of tradition and a day dedicated to enjoying the summer sun and celebrating our beautiful nation. I tend to go all out when it comes to patriotic attire and I’m already planning the day’s outfits – one for day and one for night.

Do you have any fun plans? My mom’s birthday is July 3 so we are spending a long weekend at my lakehouse and will hopefully spend the day bbq’ing, laying in the sun, swimming in the lake, listening to tunes, and enjoying the company followed by fireworks and a picnic that night. I’m having a really hard time narrowing down my choices but I’ll definitely be in need of a cute bikini or one piece, coverup, sunnies, beach hat and a tote for day and then this pretty off the shoulder dress, a fireworks romper {I mean how cute!}, a classic tunic, or a breezy maxi for night. So many options! What would you choose? You can see even more choices below…
