I wore this look on our first full day in New York and it was perfect for the blustery wind and low temps. I really tried to pack basics that I knew I wouldn’t regret having once I decided what to wear/got dressed. Ha, does anyone ever have that issue? For me it’s always best to pack the classics rather than try too hard with items that don’t feel as true to my personal style. These wide leg pants are an amazing price point and have been worn numerous times {most recently with this sequin top} and will remain on repeat throughout the rest of the year.
Chassity and I started the day previewing the Fall 2015 Leoffler Randall collection with our friend Stacy from one of my favorite stores, Hampden Clothing. Note to self: save your money for everything to come from LR {currently lusting over these}. We then headed to the kate spade new york preview – so good – followed by lunch with Carly, Mackenzie, and Amy at Tipsy Parson. We stopped by the Shoshanna showroom to check out their newest collection before heading back to The Marlton for a quick outfit change. Later that night we met up with Grace for drinks at our hotel before heading to dinner with Stacy from Hampden, Molly from Les Nouvelles, and Sean, the designer of SEA NY {which if you didn’t know is one of my FAVORITE brands – check them out here, here, and here – eyeing this dress!} at Lafayette. Yum!
Have you been checking out STYLE.com for the most recent shows? I have to say that there are lots of wide legs, culottes, clean lines, pastels, slits, and chic neutrals in our future.
