With award season in full swing {did you see the SAG awards on Sunday? Rosamund Pike and Felicity Jones were personal favorites!} I wanted to throw a girly get together with my best friends to indulge in some champagne, light bites, breakdown our favorite fashion hits and misses, and create a little friendly competition over our favorite box office hits. Since our apartment is really small I wanted to create a cozy atmosphere without breaking the bank. Leave it to Target to always have exactly what you need when it comes to throwing a party.

I love that these poufs add a pop of print to our neutral space while also adding some comfy additional seating around our coffee table. I made sure to lay out a bunch of blankets, like this chenille Threshold throw, so everyone could curl up with a glass of champagne and feel like they were at home. I made easy finger foods so people could pick as the please and filled up these cute bowls with gourmet theatre candy like caramel popcorn and dark chocolate covered cherries.

Are you familiar with Target’s Spritz Collection? It is filled with the most adorable items for entertaining at home! I set up my Threshold bar cart with gold glitter champagne flutes {check your local store!} and pretty polka dot straws laid out on my acrylic serving tray. I also picked up floral and stripe plates/napkins to add some color to the mix. On the table I used a white cake plater from the Spritz collection to display mini pizza slices. The perfect combo for an afternoon with your favorite ladies!

Would you throw an Award Show party with your friends? We had so much fun!
