I’m not mad about it because they are pretty much the one thing in my closet that I can always justify and will always get worn. I’ve wanted a plaid coat since last year but was never completely sold on the prints. When this Intermix option {get the look for less, here!} popped up on my recent search for new outerwear I knew the blend of tartan print and classic silhouette would be a new favorite in my closet. My style tends to be on the dressy side and I love how effortless and casual this look feels. It’s made up of so many staples, most that I’ve had in my wardrobe for awhile. I recently added these Charlotte Olympia kitty slippers {how much fun are all of these colors?} to the mix – I’ve been coveting them for a few years and the navy velvet was too fun to pass up. Also, if you’re looking for a good pair of distressed skinny jeans that won’t break the bank – these are amazing! You can shop more of this look below…

PS: If you’re looking for some new cashmere for fall/winter – GILT is having an amazing sale on Autumn Cashmere, one of my favorites!
