Happy new year! 2013 was a whirlwind – filled with ups and downs, highs and lows, and some pretty magical moments. Two major highlights – Dave and I getting engaged! and a brand new S&S. But it’s time to close the door and dive into a new year full of accomplished goals and dreams come true. 2014! This is the beginning of anything you want. What do you want in 2014? Here are my goals for the new year…

My dream wedding. Planning is well on its way with our date set for September 2014! This year is all about the details and seeing it all come together {and getting to marry my best friend}.

Dream new dreams for S&S. I have a running list of ideas for posts, brands I’d love to work with, and fun collaborations to share with you. In 2014 I want to share more personal style/outfit posts, more Girl On A Budget posts, and dedicate more time to creating strong content.

Read more. Instead of winding down after a long day with reality tv {guilty} I need to open a book!

Take a photography class. I have been saying this for 2 years, time to actually do it.

Listen more, be patient, be more considerate, be in the moment. I have felt really distracted this past year and I think that at times it takes a toll on my relationships. I really need to focus on the people around me, step away from the computer, and be in the now.

Entertain more! Yes, make plans with friends.
