I will admit, dressing for Chicago winters is not always fun. Majority of the time you will find me in skinny jeans and my snow boots, and it kills me to leave my pretty shoes locked up for the season. When it comes to date nights and evenings out, there are two items that always make me feel a bit more polished/pulled together: a good pair of heels and a tailored blazer. To make this look work in 20 degree temps, I have been pairing my coziest sweaters, cold weather accessories, and skinny jeans with a fun pair of heels and an easy blazer rather than my winter coat. A fun alternative to always feeling like the abominable snowman.
