  1. I remember you saying that you had never met a Charlie you didn’t like when naming him. I was very indecisive but realized I’d never met a Ryan I didn’t like which solidified the name choice. What you said stuck in my head and was instrumental in my decision making. 😀

  2. #12 is fascinating because I also don’t like my teeth (even after ~$30k of dental work including two sets of braces), and I’ve always wished I had more classically straight teeth like yours specifically. I’ve also never noticed anything negative about your arms! Beauty is so subjective and we spend so much more time criticizing our appearance than anyone else ever would.

  3. I love your site but don’t love the way you phrased number 3 on your list. I appreciate (and agree with!) not wanting drama/b.s. in friendships, but really disagree that it is an inherent part of female friendships as kids/young adults. Yes, some girls bring that to the table, but it is by no means a gender-specific friendship trait – some boys engage in that too. I assume your positive intent in sharing this sentiment, but to me the phrasing reads like the “I’m not like other girls” trope. Again, this is said with great appreciation for your point about no-drama friendships being the way to go and with appreciation for you sharing your life on the internet. I truly do enjoy your blog.
