Natural Holiday Makeup

I always have to preface my makeup posts with…I really have no idea what I’m doing. Makeup is something I have fun with but as an everyday look I keep it very simple. I appreciate some eyeshadow for date nights or special occasions but most days you’ll find me sticking to a basic routine of tinted moisturizer, under eye concealer, blush, mascara, a neutral lip and done! But, because it’s the holidays (and although we truly have nothing on the calendar) I always like to put a little extra effort into my looks. I wanted to share my basic routine with a little something special to elevate your holidays at home look.

Shop my favorite products:

Ilia True Skin Radiant Priming Serum, YSL Touche Eclat Blur Face Primer, Beautycounter Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer (in No. 2), Ilia Concealer in Chicory, Bite Beauty Bronzer in Tan 1, Hourglass Blush in Ambient Mood Exposure, Bobbi Brown NUDE Eyeshadow Palette, Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Prosecco, Trish McEvoy 24 Hour Eye Shadow and Liner in Smokey Quartz, Beautycounter Brow Gel, Ilia Limitless Lash Mascara, Artis Elite Collection Brushes (code LIZADAMS30 for 30% off!), Dime Beauty Matte Lipsticks in Johnny and Leo

I’ve noticed a huge difference in the application of my favorite products since adding the Artis Elite brushes to my routine. They really allow your products to blend together naturally and more flawlessly. Oval 4, Oval 6 and Oval 7 are probably my most used but the Elite 10 Collection has everything you would need in one set! It’s an investment but code: LIZADAMS30 gets your 30% off your order.

I made a video (you can view it here!) of my step by step tutorial if it helps you! I basically apply as I always would + a little eyeshadow at the end. My favorite shadow stick is available in this kit from Trish McEvoy which I have from last year and it is basically all of the best finishing products you would need. All of them are great!

…a little before and after so you can see the difference! Nothing too heavy, just a way to elevate your natural look!

We have zero plans this holiday season but it’s always nice to sit around the fire feeling a little more fancy. I’ll be accompanying this look with some leggings and my favorite sequin duster. Cozy at home but make it festive!
