First of all, HAPPY OCTOBER! One of my favorite months of the year. But also how are we already in to October? Seems crazy to think that we are so close to the holidays!
I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.
Up until recently I’ve kind of had a love/hate relationship with plaid. I love the idea of wearing plaid once the weather cools down but most styles make me feel frumpy, masculine and a little sloppy. Ha! Is that weird? Like I don’t need any more of the standard flannel plaid button downs and in all honesty I’ve never felt very confident in that look. Luckily I’ve found some feminine styles to feel festive this season without sacrificing my personal style. I’m here for all of the fall vibes!
I’ve found so many cute things for fall from Mango! Do you guys shop there ever? I feel like they are kind of like a Zara with better quality and not as trendy. I picked up this fun plaid top in the prettiest neutral color for fall. I love the fitted silhouette with the dramatic sleeve! You can’t see it but it also has the prettiest back button detailing making it cute tucked in or out of whatever else you’re wearing. Mango is one of those sites that you can get lost in. I also picked up this oversized coat for fall (I bought the XXS/XS size) and also this peplum plaid top with fun metallic detailing. I can guarantee I’ll be wearing all of these pieces a bunch throughout the fall and winter.
I often get questions about my Chanel ballet flats and if I think they are worth the investment and my answer is always YES. This is my third pair and I wear them to death (I’ve already had to say goodbye to one pair after 3 new soles). They are by far my most comfortable and they legit go with everything. I can’t rave about them enough! I usually buy mine at the Chanel Boutique in the city or in-store at Neiman Marcus.
I have a lot of fun fall content happening over the next few weeks! Think home decor, family photo ideas, recipes, cozy style, family activities and so much more. Thanks for hanging in there while it’s been heavy on the sponsored content the past few weeks (although, always with brands I love to work with!). I’m prepping for a 5 day trip with Dave next week to celebrate our anniversary and wanted to make sure I could really enjoy our time together. You all are the best. xoxo
