Shop the post: Love Sadie Three-Quarter Sleeve Dress (with pockets!), Eliza May Rose Mini Tote, Sam Edelman Block Heels
If you live in Chicago, you’ll know that things have been kind of crazy around here lately—we had a few super warm and sunny days last week, snow on Saturday, and then today it was raining sideways. Needless to say, lots of indoor activities for our family this weekend! *Blinks eyes.* But even with all the unpredictability, I’ve gotta say I’ve been full of all the good vibes so far this season. There’s something about sunnier days, waking up to birds chirping and fresh blooms everywhere that gives me an added boost of energy. I’ve been extra inspired to push myself out of my routine lately, whether that means looking up new recipes, running a half-mile longer on the treadmill than I would normally, or, you know, chopping a couple of inches off my hair.
One of the new things I’ve tried this season? Shopping for clothes at Walmart. I can’t say that’s a sentence I ever thought I would write, because I always assumed Walmart would be our family’s resource for outdoor furniture, electronics, and party supplies—never fashion. But you guys, Walmart is seriously a goldmine when it comes to clothes. I’m kind of addicted to shopping all of their styles and keep adding pieces to my cart! I recently purchased this under $20 breezy three-quarter sleeve dress (I’m wearing an XS, I would size down!) and already know I’ll get so much wear out of it. Such a flattering silhouette, and one you could easily dress up with heeled sandals (like I did here) or pair with slides for a casual Memorial Day barbeque. These heels are so so comfortable. If you’re in a wedding this summer and need a neutral shoe, buy these now. They are padded and have a thick, supportive heel. I feel like this all-white ensemble embodies the fresh perspective I’m trying to adopt for spring!
A few other favorite styles I’ve found at Walmart:
These boyfriend jeans in the perfect summer wash (love this skinny style, too!)
This embroidered white blouse and this tie-front button-down blouse…both are such easy options for weekdays
This darling eyelet dress (comes in white, too!)
