Happy first day of Spring! We did it! I can’t tell you how happy I am to turn on the news in the morning and see 50 and 60 degrees in the forecast. Time to retire the heavy winter coats and snow boots (please don’t let me jinx us) and bring on the bare ankles, sneakers and sunny accessories.

In all seriousness we still have a few transition months ahead of us before we can count on consistent sunshine and warmer temps. I actually prefer these in-between days where a sweater and light jacket are the only layers necessary. Over the past couple months I’ve turned into somewhat of a sneaker hoarder in preparation of my favorite outfit: a dress and sneakers. I’m ready for it!

Honestly, I had been eyeing the leopard print GG sneakers for awhile (similar to these) but I didn’t really need to buy another pair. I saw these leopard sneakers from Nordstrom and knew they were the perfect alternative at a fraction of the price. They are seriously so cute and I can’t wait to wear them with one of my favorite dresses for spring and a denim jacket

I’m all about a good pair of casual jeans and I’ve been drawn to a girlfriend style lately. That means a slim/straight leg, cropped/ankle length and high waist! Here are a few favorite styles I love:

Spring accessories are one of the first ways to incorporate the new season into your wardrobe. Since layers are still essential in Chicago it’s the best way to freshen up my style without the fluff. I picked up this blush purse because I had been on the hunt for a crossbody that would take me from day to night.

What is your favorite outfit to wear for Spring? I’m all about comfortable layers and can’t wait to repeat this outfit in the coming months!

Thank you Nordstrom for sponsoring this post!
