I used to love getting dressed for work. After working for 6 years in the corporate world before leaving that life for blog life, I had my fair share of office outfits. Getting dressed and taking public transit to my office was always super thrilling and I still kind of idolize those that get to do that everyday! I know it is rough when you’re in it but those days are so special. Such a period of growth and independence and I always felt super empowered getting dressed and working my butt off every single day. My work days look a lot different now but I still think there is power in an awesome work wardrobe. Getting dressed and feeling confident is important! Today I wanted to share some cute office inspired outfit ideas to motivate you to look your best for the season ahead.
I shared these pants on my Instagram stories and they are seriously so flattering you guys. I love the high waist and vertical stripes which add so much length to your legs. The price can’t be beat, too! I paired it with my trusted Everlane blouse which I own in all of the classic colors. It is a staple!! But softer and more feminine than a lot of similar styles. I wear these Sam Edelman heels with everything. The suede makes them look so much more expensive than they are plus they are super comfortable. One of the only heels I can wear all day long.
Dressing for work is all about balance. As long as your proportions are balanced than anything goes. You never want to show too much skin, you want to keep things conservative and trust that classic pieces will always work. Here are some of my favorite work pieces to add to your wardrobe:
My Favorite Work Pieces for Spring
I’m loving this polka dot skirt (with matching heels!), this pretty pleated color block skirt with a silky shirt, this gorgeous blush blouse with tapered pants and my favorite slingbacks, this classic leather tote (also love this cool option) and how chic is this jumpsuit?
