The anticipation of Black Friday and Cyber Monday is getting to me! Not so much because I feel like there is so much to shop for but because I want to feel organized and not overwhelmed. I’m not one to get out of bed early and head to the mall. Crowds stress me out so you’ll find me comfy and cozy on the couch with a cup of coffee and a fully charged lap top.
To help make it easier for you I thought I would detail my strategy for shopping and how I plan to tackle the never-ending internets! I start with a master plan. I’m a huge fan of lists and they have to be hand written on pretty paper – ha. It gets me excited and helps me mentally prep for what is to come. (*note: this shouldn’t be stressful. I feel like this may sound dramatic but I’m just telling you what works best for me! In the moment it is fun and exciting and don’t forget to play Christmas music while you shop).
My plan starts with Christmas gifts and what I need to buy. I write out what I know my loved ones want/have asked for and which store(s) I plan to find these items! Here is an example…

I make sure to get all of my gifts out of the way first from the more commercial retailers! Next I move on to the stores where I’m looking for deals and make sure I bookmark which ones to check out first.
