Getting ready for the day as a mom to two active boys is always a challenge. One is either trying to put on my mascara (Charlie) while the other is eating my lipstick (Jack). I rely on a makeup routine that is quick, efficient, fresh and gives me that “I just slept for 10 hours!” kind of look – even when that isn’t actually the case.

One of the perks of this job is being able to test a bunch of different beauty products which has lead me to a few tried and true favorites that I wear every single day. Today I’m sharing all of the details of my natural looking makeup routine that makes you feel glowy and fresh faced all day long.

After cleansing my face in the morning (I love this Origins Refreshing Cleanser, it wakes up your skin!) I moisturize with a couple pumps of Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizer. I have been using this since I was in high school and it is my favorite moisturizer to wear under my makeup. It calms the skin and dries quickly which is essential when you rely on a quick morning routine. I add a drop of Kopari Coconut Body Glow to give my skin a glowy base that radiates through the rest of my makeup.

Next I apply RMS Un Cover-Up concealer because IT IS THE BEST. Trust me, I have tried every concealer and this one takes the cake (plus it is natural – win!). I wear 00 – I like to lighten under my eyes to make them pop a bit so I wear a shade lighter than my natural color. I also apply a dab under the arch of my eyebrow to add a little brightness.

A new to my brand that has totally changed the game in my beauty routine is the MILK Makeup KUSH High Volume Mascara. One swipe of this and your eyelashes will stand tall and proud all day long. I then add the Kush Fiber Brow Gel in Dutch to fill in any gaps in my eyebrows and keep them in place all day long (this is essential, you won’t realize you’ve been missing out on this product until you try it).

Then, I’ll I add a swipe of my favorite NARS Orgasm Blush which adds the prettiest glow to your cheekbones. I swear this color flatters every skin tone! The gold shimmer highlights brighten up your face – I like to add to my cheeks, down the center of my nose and the top of my forehead.

My look is complete with Sephora’s #Lipstories lipstick in Tan Lines – the best nude/pink that gives you a little bit of pigment and lots of shine.

I like to set my makeup with Supergoop’s Invincible Setting Powder SPF 45. I apply it all over my face (over my makeup!), neck and chest for extra coverage and it kind of sets my makeup in place so I know it will stay put all day long. In the summer I don’t wear foundation because I like to have my skin breathe a little bit but in the fall I’ll start adding in my go-to Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer.
