We are back from Michigan and had such a fun week with Dave’s family! We put together a little film to share our favorite things about traveling to Northern Michigan which I’ll be sharing soon. I get so many questions about where to stay, what to do, etc. and the truth is I don’t really know! I had never been to Michigan before dating Dave so I’m going to have him answer all of your questions – feel free to leave them in the comments.

I wore this cute little strawberry print dress (on super sale!) during a day trip to Leland. I sized up to a 6 because I wanted a little looser fit but it is literally the perfect dress for daytime, nighttime, etc. The silk is so comfortable and I love the sleeve and button details. There is also this fun strawberry shirt and these cute shorts. Such a fun print for summer! I love this dress option, too. 

Leland, Michigan is such a cute town. When I met Dave his family had a farm up there and it was my first time visiting the area. They have since sold their farm but Dave looooves visiting the area, grabbing food at his favorite spots and just being by the lake. We grabbed lunch at the Cheese Shanty in Fishtown (a small part of Leland that is literally an old Fishtown – it is so cute) and had a picnic by the water. The little towns that run along M-22 are so cute, I could pop in and out of the shops that line their main streets all day. We rented a house in Suttons Bay, visited with friends in Traverse City and just explored all around the peninsula. I’ll be sharing our favorites and more once I am able to edit the video!
