Do you follow me on Instagram? I talk a lot on my IG stories. I always like to keep conversation going with you guys and IG stories is where I like to keep it real (it’s always real over here too but you know what I mean). The other day I was complaining about being tired and never having time for myself and blah, blah, blah and one of my sweet followers reminded me the importance of gratitude. It was the perfect kick in the butt to make me take a step back and think about how lucky I truly am. #soblessed
I encouraged my followers to do the same and tag me in their IG stories and I loved watching/reading everyones response. I decided I wanted to elaborate. I know all of us would say our loved ones, a hot shower, Webster kisses, roof over our heads, good health – the list goes on but there are so many mundane things that truly make me feel grateful, too. Here are 10 random things that I’m grateful for…
- Spring. It is such a magical time of year and in all honesty, a season that I usually look over! BUT, being in the suburbs has opened my eyes up to the beauty of Spring. I love planting our garden, watching Dave mow the grass, watering our flowers, watching the leaves of the trees cover the streets. Such a lovely time of year!
- A cup of coffee before my kids wakeup.
- Living so close to my parents. I honestly can’t imagine not having them near by as I raise my kids.
- Amazon.
- Charlie’s new favorite thing to say is “oh my goooosh!” when he is excited and it is so so cute.
- CLEAN WATER.
- My husband’s sense of humor.
- Being able to have and carry my babies.
- Clean sheets.
- Sharing my life with all of you! I am so so grateful for each and every one of you.
My sweet friend Julia just launched her May collection of Gal Meets Glam dresses and they are beautiful. I was so impressed with her initial collection and honestly thought it would be tough to beat but I was blown away when I was lucky enough to get a little preview of these beauties. I am obsessed with the Esther dress. The sleeve and silhouette is so so flattering and also comes in this beautiful color.
