Most of the time my outfits are pretty low maintenance but my job still requires me to dress up once in a while. Before heading to a work brunch the other morning I had Dave snap a few photos of this look. To be honest, it feels a little conservative for me. I would have rather paired it with a white blouse and leather jacket but the weather in Chicago requires way more warmth (as seen in the goosebumps on my legs!). My brunch was more on the conservative side so this look did just the trick!

Hope you guys had a great weekend! We brunched and napped and watched Netflix documentaries and grabbed dinner with friends. It was perfect. Now I’m off to prep some apps for our super bowl party – making these and these (you’ll be reading this after the fact). Have a great week!

PS: I have been getting so many questions about my hair – I use this curling iron (the 1″ straight barrel), I curl my hair really tight, let cool, spray with this hairspray and then brush out completely with a flat brush. I add a tiny bit of this finishing oil to just the ends!
