It’s a problem really but one that makes me happy when I open my closet. As I get older it seems that I need dresses like this more often – baptisms, engagement parties, baby showers, bridal showers – and when it was 60 degrees last weekend I decided to wear this darling floral dress to brunch.

Wearing this floral dress makes me feel confident. It is a dress that truly defines my personal style. Obviously it is not for everyone (and not what I wear on a daily basis), but I think it is a true storyteller of my style and who I am. Light, bright, happy, youthful, soft, pink. If you ever struggle with how you would define your personal style think about the pieces in your closet that make you feel confident. It is the easiest way to get a clear picture of the things that make you feel like the best version of yourself. Wear those things as often as possible.

I was initially drawn to the bold floral print with the contrast of the black piping on this dress. I should mention that it runs small. I’m wearing a medium and if I wanted more room I could have easily done a large (I think it is closer to junior sizing). I wanted to wear it with my over the knee boots but decided to embrace the warmer temps. This dress also comes in the prettiest shirt which would look super cute with distressed denim and ballet flats for spring.

I’ve linked a few other dresses that are on my wish list below…

Outfit details: Old Navy Coat (wearing a small), Re:named Floral Dress (size up), Givenchy Bag (mine is size small but linked a similar color), Chanel Ballet Flats (similar here)
