I am always torn when it comes to dressing this time of year. I want to pull out my favorite sweaters and boots but the temperatures are still just warm enough where it really isn’t necessary. After purchasing less expensive versions of this sweater year after year and throwing them away after one season, I finally splurged on the Vince cardigan. It really goes withe everything and is a wardrobe staple. It is the item to layer over dresses as we transition to fall.

I had been on the hunt for a pair of open toe booties and was so excited to find this Marc Fisher style. They are actually incredibly comfortable and I love the chunky ankle strap. You’ll definitely see this dress on repeat over the next few months. It will also look good with my OTK boots.

I hope you had a great weekend! I am currently sitting on the couch after a long Sunday of taking care of Charlie. He came down with a fever and stomach bug. Nothing breaks your heart more than seeing your child get sick!
