It sometimes seems like fall is the season for trends. Probably because it is the start of fashion month but I tend to stick to what I know works year after year. For me that is a button up shirt, a great pair of jeans and lightweight jacket.

I found this outfit at Gap Factory, one of my go-to stores for classic style at a great price. Aside from my typical skinny jeans, I am always on the hunt for a looser boyfriend style for days when I need a little extra room to move. The boyfriend jean can sometimes feel like a lot of jean, especially for my shorter frame. I need something a bit more tailored and was excited to find this girlfriend jean! It has the comfort of a boyfriend jean with a slimmer fit (also loving this pair). I paired it with this easy stripe tie front top (that I find myself wearing 3 times a week) and a military jacket which is sadly sold out (but in denim here).

My look (and everything!) is 50-70% off for Labor Day! Shop now!
