Comfort is key around here as I am constantly rolling around on the ground with Charlie, sprinting into the kitchen, throwing in a load of laundry, going on walks, running around our apartment, or rushing to let Webster out before I head to a meeting. My days are hectic and also completely unplanned which is why it is important for me to wear things that are comfortable and stylish at the same time.

The weather is on the up and up in Chicago (I hope) and we’ve been spending as much time outdoors as possible. Charlie is finally big enough where he can support himself sitting up and it has been so much fun putting him in the swing and watch his face light up. He LOVES the swing and these photos make me happy.

My go-to uniform is an easy tee paired with distressed denim, skirts or shorts. I’ve been rocking this combo for years and am grateful that this effortless look is making a comeback. There is something about a striped tee that always makes me feel more put together than I usually am. It is definitely an essential for anyone’s closet and this style from Old Navy is super soft and a great fit. Charlie is also a fan of comfort and I love this adorable little tee set. He lives in pieces like this and Old Navy has the CUTEST baby items right now, like this, this, this and this.
