I spotted this cute picnic basket from Modcloth and knew that I had to make it mine. Now that the days are longer, Dave and I will pack up a bottle of rosé, a couple of salads, Charlie and Webster and walk over to watch the fisherman catch dinner and play fetch with Webster. We bring a big blanket and could spend hours enjoying the fresh air. This adorable basket comes with everything you would need for 2 people – plates, silverware, wine glasses, napkins – very picturesque for a picnic in the park!
We had an 80 degree day two Saturday’s ago and I wanted to wear something pretty to celebrate the weather. I wore this full skirted stripe dress (under $100) and neutral sandals ($30). A few of our other favorite outdoor activities include: walks through Lincoln Park Zoo, Saturday mornings at Green City Market, brunch outdoors at Perennial, Big Star or Tavern on Rush, and days at the dog park.
PSA: Modcloth has so many adorable items for spring under $100! So many beautiful dresses like this, this, this, this, this and this. I also want these shorts, this portable radio would be perfect for the beach, this iPhone case, and these pineapple tumblers!
