We spent the majority of last week in Charleston where I spoke at The Southern C Summit. Not only do I adore this charming city but I had the best time meeting so many creative and inspiring women. It was an amazing experience! Now we are back to rainy and cold Chicago but I’m going to pretend that I am still savoring that South Carolina sun.

As a speaker, I was invited to two beautiful dinners – one at Fritz Porter and one at the home of Tara Guerard. I wore this Alexis dress to Tara’s home which was on a quiet street tucked away in Charleston’s Historic District. The event required a dress to celebrate the magic of the evening. Dave and Charlie joined me in South Carolina and between conference events, night’s out, enjoying the city with my family and visiting with my family that lives there, I came home sleepy. Charlie is also battling another cold/cough – poor baby. Needless to say, we are ready for a new week (and a good night’s sleep!). Happy May, friends!
