Hey Friday! I am so happy that you’re here. To celebrate, here is a little wish list of pretty things. Clearly I am gravitating towards shades of blush, ivory, black and camel. Classics in any woman’s spring wardrobe! I love that all of these items can easily be worn now (maybe I’d save this skirt for spring but how cute would it be paired with these booties and a cozy sweater?). Winter can sometimes be a big downer when it comes to getting dressed so it’s fun to find items that will add a little life to your closet. Sometimes the simplest details like a bow, lace, ruffled sleeves, stripes, florals or embroidery can really liven up basics.
I’m positive that this Free People dress (I missed it last year!), this pink coat, these booties and this necklace need to be mine. The coat is definitely an item that would get worn year round – I love the shade of pink! You can browse more ladylike favorites below…
Any fun plans this weekend? Dave has been traveling for work all week so I am happy to have him home. The temperature is supposed to be amazing in Chicago so we plan on taking a few walks along the lakefront, grabbing brunch with friends and Dave and I are going on a date on Saturday! So excited. We are going to see an afternoon movie which is something we haven’t done since well before Charlie’s arrival.
Side note: Patagonia is currently having a huge sale on their winter collection! I’ve already snagged a few pieces (this vest and this fleece) for our upcoming trip to Telluride but it’s definitely worth checking out. My go-to winter coat is also on sale! Their kids & baby collection is adorable (stock up now!) – Charlie this coat and this coat which are both on sale.
