Sweater Weather for Him

sweater weather for himI’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited about the cold weather hitting Chicago this weekend. Not only does that mean I get to pull out my favorite turtleneck sweater, but Dave gets to pull out his sweaters too and that’s my favorite. There is something sexy about a man in a pair of good fitting jeans and a casual, cool sweater – so effortlessly styled – would you agree?

Dave and I always have fun moving over our closets for the colder temps (Dave would probably not use the word “fun” but that’s okay). We always end up giving away at least a couple of garbage bags of clothes that don’t get enough wear anymore and make a trip to Nordstrom together to fill in the gaps. This year we upgraded a ton of sweaters that Dave had over-worn the past few years and I was so impressed by Nordstrom’s collection of comfortable, high-quality sweaters that you can get without breaking the bank. I’m a big fan of the half-zip sweater so you can see his casual tee or button down peaking out underneath, luckily Dave is a big fan too. Finding a quality cashmere sweater at a great price is tough and I think this sweater is going to be my go-to gift for the men in my life this holiday season.
