One of my favorite things to do on Wednesday or Saturday mornings is to visit the Green City Market in Lincoln Park. The farmers market is outdoors along Clark Street in LP from May thru October and then moves indoors for the remainder of the year {details here}. It is filled with Midwest vendors and local food trucks/restaurants cooking up amazing crepes, homemade apple donuts, fresh baked goods, and of course fresh produce and beautiful flowers.

One of my favorite things to do in the fall is cook up soup recipes from produce we buy at the market but most mornings I stop at Seedling for fresh berries and a smoothie, which they serve up on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Dave loves to stop at the cheese and pickled veggie stands because of all of the samples. (: For those of you visiting, Saturdays are packed with people and way more vendors {but my favorite place to grab breakfast with friends!}. If you’re looking for a quieter experience then head over on Wednesdays!

With the weather slowly transitioning to fall I’ve been pulling out a few of my favorite layers. These photos were actually taken two weeks ago when we were experiencing the prettiest fall mornings! I have been living in ASOS maternity tees {so comfortable} and this Ella Moss fringe sweater is equally cozy and light. How cute is this chambray bucket bag {I’m obsessed with the gold and leather details}? It’s made by my friend Matt who’s company, Stone + Cloth, is filled with beautiful backpacks and bags that give back. Each purchase provides 25 hours of education for a student and the details/work that go into making each piece is so impressive. You can learn more about the brand here {watch the video!} and browse the full collection here!
