Thank god for pretty accessories because otherwise my maternity style would get old fast. Most days you’ll find me in an easy dress silhouette paired with either a fun pair of flats or heels depending on my schedule for the day. These kate spade new york heels have been heavy hitters in my closet lately. The cracked gold leather makes them feel a bit more casual and the block heel is comfortable for days when I’m out and about for hours at a time. I’ve worn them to a wedding paired with a floral dress and dressed down with a white tee and boyfriend jeans for brunch. My favorite type of sandals that can easily transition to fall/winter festivities, too. They also come in three other colors!

It has been beautiful in Chicago the past few weeks {it usually takes until July for summer weather to finally show up consistently} and I’ve been trying to get outdoors as much as possible. Nellcôte in the West Loop has the prettiest outdoor patio that transports you to the streets of Paris and a delicious menu. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for a new weekend spot for brunch or weeknight dinner.
