Truth: I am addicted to iPhone Apps. I’m totally that crazy person who loves to read articles on the newest must-have apps, I pin posts where bloggers review their favorite apps for work and play, and I don’t want to admit how frequently I check Apple’s list of the best of the best. They make life so much easier and it is like constantly having my computer on me at all times.
Except, however, when it comes to fashion apps. Is it just me or are there way too many and none of them do what we actually want them to do? Until now! If you go through my phone there is only one fashion app standing all by its lonesome and that app is The Wantlist by Styloko. Styloko is a fashion discovery search engine where you can browse your favorite products from around the web and immediately be directed to that store’s website to purchase. It’s the easiest way to find something specific and is bookmarked on my toolbar because I utilize it far too frequently. If the website is good you know the app is going to be even better.
The Wantlist is basically a Tinder for shopping where you swipe left if you don’t like an item or swipe right if you’d like to add the item to your Wantlist. They pull product from all over the internets {think your favorite stores where you shop anyways} and as soon as you like an item it is added to your Wantlist and divided into categories. You can even filter your results if you’d like to stay under a certain budget, are only looking for a particular item {like a coat for fall}, only view items from certain brands, or see items specifically on sale. All of the products you like stay in your Wantlist and you can even get email notifications when something in your list goes on sale.
For someone who is always looking for new arrivals at my favorite stores, this is the best app to see products and save what you like all in one place. Another fun feature is that you can browse the Wantlist of fashion influencers like Eva Chen, Lauren Santo Domingo, Moda Operandi, and more. I honestly find myself swiping left and right for 20 minutes straight – you get in this zone and then it is so fun to see what you’ve curated in your Wantlist! You can also shop directly through the app – it will forward you to the product page on that website and you can make a purchase from there. Seriously this app makes shopping so easy.
