In the last couple of months I am happy to admit that I’ve mastered my beauty routine. So much so that it only takes me a few minutes to be out the door with a fresh face that will last me all day. In the spring/summer {and almost always} my motto is less is more and this routine is exactly that. Consisting of easy and clean products that are good for your skin to create a natural look that still leaves a big impact!
I was really inspired by J.Crew‘s most recent Style Guide, not only for the amazing clothes but the effortless beauty looks that covered the pages. I’m all about dewy skin, lined eyes, and a pop of color on your lips as we enter spring/summer and these products will provide you with an easy, hustle free routine to accomplish the perfect look. These items are detailed in the order in which they are applied…
For the Face: {I use this cleanser before starting my routine}
Caudalie Anti Aging Defense Serum {it works!} // Clinique Moisturizing Lotion {I love this for warmer months because it is so lightweight!} // Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with SPF // bareMinerals Correcting Concealer {for under eyes}
For the cheeks:
Bobbi Brown Bronzer // Charlotte Tilbury Beach Stick {comes in the best colors + lasts all day!} // Laura Geller Highlighter {the most natural I’ve found}
For the lips:
bareMinerals Pop of Passion Lip Oil Balm {color + moisture in one! I love that this doesn’t cake on your lips, is easy to re-apply and has great color}
For the eyes:
bareMinerals Eye Palette {I use the lightest color on my lids everyday} // Trish McEvoy Liquid Liner Pen {a game changer in my routine, I run a really thin line right along my lashes for a subtle look to make your eyes pop} // Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara {my favorite – doesn’t cake and makes your lashes BIG} // Kimiko Eyebrow Pencil {seriously THE BEST, thats all}
*I can’t rave about these products enough. Tried and true favorites that I rely on every day. Also, a lot of your ask what colors/shades I use – I always opt for a shade lighter than my natural skin tone when it comes to foundation, concealer, and bronzer and I’m usually drawn towards a warmer blush shade and neutral eyes!
